A screenshot often explains a problem faster than words. You can add files when you open a ticket and in every reply.
Three ways to add files
- Paste a screenshot: take a screenshot, then press Ctrl + V (Cmd + V on a Mac) on the ticket page. It is added as an attachment.
- Drag and drop: drag files from your computer onto the attachments area.
- Browse: click the attachments area and choose the files.
Every file you add appears in a list, where you can remove it again before you submit.
Take a screenshot
| System | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Windows | Windows + Shift + S, then select an area |
| Mac | Cmd + Shift + 4 (hold Ctrl as well to copy it) |
| Phone | Use your phone's screenshot buttons, then attach the image |
Allowed files
You can attach images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif), .pdf and .txt files. The maximum size per file is shown below the attachments area. If a file is too large, crop the screenshot, or save logs as a .txt file.
Before you send a screenshot, check it doesn't show passwords, keys or other private information.
